Who we work with

What We Do

  • Work with you to identify the goals and priorities of the project
  • Analyze potential tower locations, providing detailed coverage and capacity estimations based on RF modeling and geospatial data analysis
  • Design the complete hardware system from AC outlet to Antenna
  • Provide your PE with detailed mechanical drawings and all loading details of the equipment build, saving time and money at the structural stage (if required)
  • Provide your tower crew with detailed build diagrams and instructions for both the tower top and cabinet installs as well as a complete “plumbing” diagram showing all network, power, and grounding connections
  • Maintain an on-call systems engineer for any build-day questions
  • Configure and turn-up all radios, power and networking systems
  • Document the new build and add it to your management systems
  • Provide a complete Bill of Materials for all wiring and equipment, and optionally a quote to purchase through us
  • We can create custom assemblies, fixtures, and whole new parts, if needed for a clean and easy build
  • Procurement, staging, pre-assembly and pre-configuration services also available

  • Analyze impact of changes to current customers as well as any new coverage
  • Design the hardware system modifications needed, integrating with existing systems where appropriate
  • Provide your tower crew with detailed build diagrams and instructions for both the tower top and cabinet installs as well as a complete “plumbing” diagram showing all network, power, and grounding connections
  • Maintain an on-call systems engineer for any build-day questions
  • A network engineer will monitor the build-day progress and reconfigure the site as changes happen
  • Configure and turn-up all radios, power and networking systems
  • Document the new build and add it to your management systems

Through careful planning and network configuration, many upgrades can be completed with Near-Zero Downtime!

Example Cleanup of Self Supporting Tower (SST) design

  • Talk your customer through rebooting their devices and running a speed test
  • Talk your lead engineer through getting the S1 MME link back online so your LTE eNB’s RAN will activate again
  • Bring your site back online by rebuilding the PTP820c backhaul configuration remotely at 8pm on a Saturday
  • Configure and maintain advanced monitoring
  • Perform Proactive Maintenance and updates
  • Handle troubleshooting tickets escalated from your team
  • Frequency planning
  • Customer site Pre-Qualification for efficient installs
  • Produce detailed LIDAR-driven coverage maps that include modeling for every type of CPE install you offer (see PinPoint Propagations for example methods)
  • Classify serviceable locations by signal and install method
  • Discover the properties you can serve, not just the houses you can hit
  • Create USPS-validated mailing lists of serviceable locations for only the install parameters and filter criteria you select
  • Plot distribution of serviceable locations to optimize antenna aim
  • Account for every consideration in your new design
    • Competitor coverage
    • Existing systems
    • Fiber footprints
    • Regional demographics
  • Evaluate how a new system will handle current customers for upgrades with confidence

Our in-house system PinPoint Propagations allows for the most flexible and comprehensive modeling available at a WISP-friendly price point. We use this RF propagation data as the basis for geospatial analysis for projects. The prequal interface is also now available!

  • Clean and correct your equipment and customer records
  • Determine coverage footprint that accurately matches your systems, install methods, and thresholds per area
  • Create files ready for submission
  • Certify your BDC filings

An F/WISP needed to rapidly expand coverage and capacity in an existing wireless market in advance of a multi-year fiber deployment. They specified Cambium PMP450m as the technology of choice, in both 3GHz CBRS and 5GHz where appropriate. We provided detailed coverage analysis that accounted for competitor claimed coverage, current and future phases of the fiber build-out, fine-grained AP capacity, and a variety of on- and off-building CPE install methods.

We worked with the site acquisition team to finalize locations and lease heights. After locations were finalized we provided detailed system designs for all locations. We worked with the leasing and structural teams on their portions, then with construction and tower crews to verify work was completed to the specification.

All locations came online as designed in early 2024.

A rural head-end site with only one available carrier had 1Gbps DIA service at a cost of $3,000 per month. The ISP had another location 8 miles away with 5Gbps transport through another carrier, but previous attempts to link them wirelessly had failed. As the current service was coming up for a 2-year renewal in just over a month, they asked us for options and a quick turn-around time.

We designed a licensed PTP system for 1Gbps symmetric at 99.99% uptime and quoted certified used radios. The system was delivered, installed, and turned up less than three weeks after the request. It performed exactly as designed, and has been the bedrock connectivity for the region ever since.

We kept costs low by working with available supplies of second-hand equipment, and the complete equipment cost including cabling and power was only $8,460. Because we had equipment in their hands so quickly, the ISP was able to avoid the renewal term, and will save over $60,000 just in that time.

A small provider with deployed LTE systems needed high-capacity service for businesses and community anchor institutions along a downtown corridor. We worked with them to identify the coverage, capacity, and cost objectives, and recommended a very economical set of Ubiquiti LTU Rockets on RF-Elements Horns. Along with a Mikrotik NetPower 16P, the whole setup needed just a single new cable and two compact standoff mounts. We worked with the tower climb contractor, providing them with full construction documents. The design was installed and put into service in late 2022, providing vital connectivity to the town hall, library, police station, and numerous businesses.

For this project we handled:

  • Evaluation of site coverage potential
  • Backhaul path analysis and selection
  • Complete equipment design – Power systems, cabinets, mounting and cable support hardware, cabling, grounding, radios, fiber runs
  • Producing RFDS (Radio Frequency Data Sheet) and other design documents
  • Redlining CDs to correct issues from A&E
  • Configuring all devices
  • Network architecture design and configuration, including multi-homed redundant transport with BFD-enabled OSPF
  • Install support
  • Turn-upย  and testing
