A dedicated computer science major at California State University Long Beach who is expected to graduate in spring 2024. Along with their studies, they work as a software engineer trainee here under the guidance of Peter Souza, continuously developing and solidifying best practices and precautions for building code while gaining practical experience in software development.
With a strong interest in exploring different areas of programming, they have worked on two major projects that involved both front-end and back-end tasks. They have built scripts utilizing Python to simplify routine tasks for clients and attached them to a front end for the tool utilizing API calls and SQL. This experience has helped them gain confidence in working with front-end, data storage management and retrieval, building scripts, and working with APIs. As a result of this work, they have developed proficiency and understanding of various programming languages and tools, including Vue.js, Python, SQL, CSS, and HTML.
With a passion for learning and exploring new frontiers in computer science, they aim to expand their knowledge and skills through various projects and opportunities. They are highly committed to leveraging their experiences and determination to create a positive impact on the world and contribute to projects they can be proud of.
